Hello again!

Hello all, I would also like to apologize for our blog-neglect. We took an emotional hit after losing our beloved camera - that decided the jump down the concrete stairs was better than life with us. That was hard enough, but then we got another camera, that after a week made the same decision, minus the concrete stairs. We are not on camera probation. Evidently the word is out in the Sony camera underworld that it is better to experience one hard smack on the ground than go through our gratuitous picture endeavors.

But, we have gone 1982 and bought a slightly-purple camera for a couple of dollars that has some sweet features, like: flash, manual wind, manual rewind, and did I mention it has a built in flash? Pretty awesome.

But, that said, we are back online. We are not really sure what to think about our camera situation, but we will have pictures...kind of.

Moving on, today is a special day. After waiting for many months, and putting in a lot of work, we received the first copy of my book today!

All in all, it is a bit of a weird experience, but exciting nonetheless. It is mostly humbling to know that this will soon be in stores across the US and UK. We have also recently found out that Relevant Magazine is going to have my book a part of their summer reading list, which I believe will be on their website. Also, we have launched the website for the book, at www.JesusAsAWayOfLife.com, and will have a free Study Guide available for individuals and groups - so if you know any pastors or small group leaders, please let them know.

Anyway, Kelli and I are constantly amazed at how quickly time continues to go. We look forward to seeing you soon if we can, but if not, please stay in touch. We miss you all, and hope all is well.

Oh Yeah, and Kelli is a cute Scottish lady now.

WWWWOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!! Isn't it a totally trippy feeling to hold that thing in your hands?! Congratulations, Kyle, I'm really, really proud of you. This is like the Strobel's version of coming of age--"Now, my son, you are a man!" ;) I'm really looking forward to reading it and doing the study; you came up with some really fanastic activities and discussion questions. And I'll post on my blog about all your various websites and stuff and rally people to give it a shot. :)

Awesome!

I had preordered it from Amazon several months ago, so I can't wait until it actually arrives at my door! I'll let you know how the reading goes!
Congratulations again!

Ok, fine. For real, we ARE very proud of you. :) It seems like you've been writing a book ever since we've known you, and for it to now be official is very surreal! :) We miss you a LOT, by the way.
