The sun will come up tomorrow...or later tonight?
As many of you know, we live near Santa. Living this far north means a lot of darkness in the winter, but for the time being, we have a lot of sun (if the sun actually comes out of course). Actually, more often than not we just have a lot of The Har, but whose keeping track of these types of things.
Anyway, during a night which was less than ideal, kelli decided to take some pictures of the last part of light at night, where the sky was still blue (though dark blue), and when the sky started lighting up again in the morning.
This is the picture taken at night (It was taken through a window so please ignore the glare).
As you can see, the streetlights have just come on, but the sky is still blue. This was taken at approximately 12:30.
The next picture was taken in the morning.
Now, as you can see, the sky is turning blue, and it is light enough to see pretty far. This was taken at 3:30 in the morning. So sometime in those 3 hours the sun broke below the horizon enough to get dark, and then popped right back up. Craziness.
