Bothwell Castle

This is Bothwell Castle. Kelli and I went here on our trip to Glasgow but I've been too lazy to post it until now. I'm not sure what to tell you about this particular picture. I seem to be staring dumbly at the wall. So there you have it...

This is where I was leading myself in a tour of the castle. I had a lot of really good things to say. Evidently this is the room where Beauty and the Beast danced upon the eve of the Jacobite rebellion prior to the Young Pretenders attempted ascent. Fascinating.

Here is when I was sick of walking and was trying to get a piggy-back ride from Kelli.
Then I cast a spell on Kelli's hair and made it weird.
Seriously though, we were at the top of a spiral staircase and it was really windy. The way the wind came in and went up the staircase made Kelli's hair stand on end. The weirdness my spell cast upon her hair was more in texture than in form, and didn't have much to do with it standing on end.
I was looking at the incredible patchwork the ancient people made on the castle. Their use of red bricks to patch the red stone is amazing for that time period....they were so advanced.
