Over half way there...

Hello. It has been a while, and for that I am sorry. Kelli and I have had a whirlwind trip thus far, and it seems to continue to get crazier as time goes on. We have seen the redwoods of California, and the beaches of Maui. We have driven through snow in Texas, and negative temperatures in the midwest. We've been in 8 states in the last couple of days, and we've had the opportunity to see many friends along the way.

For those of you who don't know, we are headed to Connecticut for about 5 months. I will be researching at Yale, and Kelli will be working. While we are growing tired making this long journey, we have had a blast. We've had hotel showers that make a 20 degree jump from hot to cold and back again within an instant, we've seen countless babies and children, we've drank more coffee than any two humans should ever consume, and we've made up for our fair share in gas saved while not driving in Scotland in the amount we've paid for along the way.

There are too many highlights to go through, particularly relational ones, but some of the non-relational highlights have definitely been: kelli's first Cracker Barrel experience, a great steak at Weber Grill, the horizon of texas, and the beauty of snow.

We look forward to making it all the way to our destination, and continue our adventure "in Aberdeen" while we are away on the East Coast. We will keep you updated on our random adventures there as well.

Oh yay, the blog is functional again! I haven't clicked on it in forever, figuring y'all had too much going on to think about posting--imagine my excitement at TWO posts waiting to be read! Can't wait to hear about Yale. I SO wish we could come out and see it. *sigh*
